Midnight in the garden of good and evil is what I watched tonight and very entertaining it was too. Had me laughing out loud , much to the surprise of me myself and I . There were some pretty colourful characters in that film and I also learned a bit of Voodoo Twenty minutes before midnight is for good spells and twenty after for evil workings. Good to know , eh ? Never know when that may come in handy

In other news ... Norway won the Eurovision song contest, if anyone is bothered ?

I'm glad I had a film to watch TTFN

Ah, a Clint Eastwood direction isn't it? I've not seen it, but I did read the book. Glad you enjoyed it :-)

My TV was on tuned to Eurovision contest, but I wasn't watching, I did hear Graham Norton getting a bit enthusiastic when the Brit entry was getting some votes tho'

  I saw the last 20 minutes of the voting - about the time it became clear that Norway had won. Stayed to see the end ... it was really a happy family song

  Wasn't it just - I loved it. A great surprise. Watched it as I ate my hot chili and garlic king prawns and rice followed by dark chocolate to combat the hotness. Perfect ! xx

You know I was going to read the book and for some reason never got to. Then I missed the movie also. Guess I am going to have to either get the book or find the movie

  You'll do it when the time is right. I am like that with some films / books Bridges of Maddison County was one such film - I must have tried to see it about 3 times ...something always happened to prevent this. One time we actually got to the cinema, the film started and the sound was strange .. techie problem .. we all got our money back
