Mira mumbles as morning breaks

Being philosophical about windows flying open

Repairman has not " heard of himself " yet as they say here in Sweden...pfffft. Books are keeping the window closed. ( what does that mean ?)

Apart from calling , I have sent him an email illustrating the problem in pictures ;-)
( see above )

I wonder what this means , symbolically ?
The catch is broken ... window flies open .. a window of opportunity ..... and I try to close it with books ? LOL

My weird dreams continue. Last night I was making a HUGE pot of carrot soup and the dream the night before resembled a funny b- movie with Eddie Murphy as a healer .In other news :

Popping next door to get my hair cut . Moon is waning which means hair will grow slowly . Brilliant :-)

you obviously don't know your own strength.

  It was an old fixture ; it was bound to snap but .. you may also be right

  Yes, metal fatigue. These windows are from the 1930s. They are charming , but tricky to open and to close. I reckon when there is a strong wind , the fixtures get stressed out and a lot of stress over time .. and a mira tug and voila !

  I agree .. an open window is nice... and I need fresh air. Only problem is these windows are big and old and would break easily with too much rattling around. It is not ideal to have them open as the street in front is one of the busiest in Stockholm. It is much quieter when they are shut

fresh air is good i haven't been feeling very well lately and i'm now on two weeks leave and have stopped work etc., and guess what? i have a potential chest infection! it's so funny,
