What is intimacy , anyway ?
Intimacy means more than sex. For me it is about the connection of souls.
It is the true union of two beings; heart to heart , soul to soul and has surprisingly little to do with that which is physical.
Intimacy means 'profoundly within' The word " intimacy " comes from the latin 'inter' meaning within. The open sharing of your innards .. innermost hopes, wishes , desires, thoughts, secrets ?
Horizontal sharings; talking to someone while lying down, stretched out on the sofa , floor, grass, sand ....
People can be engaged intimately , each sitting quietly reading a book, or watching a sunset, or chopping veggies for a salad.
Being together ; sharing the same space, breathing the same air , tuning in to thought waves, and each other's vibes.
The soul selects her own society-
Then - shuts the Door -
To her divine Majority-
Present no more-Unmoved - she notes the Chariot's- pausing-
At her low Gate-
Unmoved- an emperor be kneeling
Upon he Mat -I've known her - from an ample nation -
Choose One -
Then - close the Valves of her attention -
