Yes the mind is like Shiva destroys and creates.
The mind is often too full of precious things as well as rubbish and chatter , it is only when it is emptied of content that it can be filled with quality things.

I agree .. everything has value and is of use, but we need to clear clutter from time to time.
Distractions are good .. enjoyable too

It is both it is a vessel to be filled till the precious things it is filled with flow over and fill the minds of those around it with beautiful thoughts and ideas.
It is a fire which burns brightly with inspiration, but sometimes burns too bright and like shiva it destroys as well as creates.
