I love my Sunday mornings
going with the flow and simply being
I'm obsessed with writing and getting lost in my thoughts.
I get lost in my thoughts and daydreams and my self commenting on my own thoughts.

Refecting ...

Today on the film that I watch last night.. Match Point, one of Woody Allen's creations. What a mind that chap has. Imagine getting lost in Woody Allen's mind :))

Featured in the film were snippets of Opera ,recordings of Caruso complete with lovely 78 gramaphone crackles http://www.archive.org/details/Caruso_part1

What a resource.
I love the old 78 records and would love to own a gramaphone. We once took one with us on a picnic, 20s style , with a picnic hamper , 6 pf us in an open vintage car owned by Peter. Peter was quite eccentric in those days, It was through Peter I discover Jimmy Hendrix. He used to play Jimmy Hendrix full blast out of his bedroom window . Peter refused to go through being confirmed until his parents succumbed to his bribe of state of the art stereo music equipment . *respect * :))

  I love gramophones - we used to have one that was given to my mum, but it didn't have the trumpet. One of the records was " the laughing policeman" that was our favourite

  I wish we'd kept the gramophone we had , but I think my mum threw it out She has clearing out spells and seems to get rid of the " good stuff" and keep what I think is " junk " .. who's to say , eh ?
